2. Data processed
SocialBid stores the submitted profile URL, social network, display name, description, publication dates and public click count. Repeated clicks are added to that aggregate count; SocialBid does not create a visitor account or a daily voter record for this feature. Advertising purchases additionally store the selected slot, advertiser name, destination, message, payment status and Stripe reference. Aggregate page visits are also counted.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Data is used to publish profiles, calculate the free ranking, display purchased advertisements, confirm advertising payments, protect the service, comply with legal obligations and answer enquiries. Processing is based on the user's request to publish, performance of the advertising contract where applicable, legal obligations and the legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
4. Retention
Public profile data and its aggregate click count remain while the entry participates in the service or until a valid deletion request is handled, subject to legal and security needs. Advertising and transaction records are retained for the duration of the placement and any mandatory accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute period.
5. Recipients
Cloudflare infrastructure managed through Sites hosts the application and database. Stripe processes payment and billing information only for advertising purchases. Ranking entries and active text advertisements are public by their nature. Providers may process data internationally using safeguards required by applicable law.
6. Your rights
Data subjects may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability where applicable by writing to sergiofervillaf@gmail.com. They may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
7. Local storage, cookies and advertising
SocialBid stores only the selected light or dark theme in the visitor's browser. The six advertisements are direct contextual placements and this version does not install third-party advertising cookies or behavioural tracking pixels. Stripe may use its own necessary technologies when an advertiser opens checkout under Stripe's policies.
